Aussie Finch Forum

After 8.5 years and 3500+ posts on the forum, this will be my last post on the forum.
I have always tried to constructively assist whenever I could on the forum, especially when people were asking specific questions in relation to problems or simply requiring further information regarding finches. I would like to think that I have helped others in doing so.
I have always also endeavoured to keep my posts at least partly on topic bearing in mind that some topics can easily take tangents, which is fine by me.
I am generally very tolerant of others and have never been insulting or deliberately offensive toward other forum users in any of my posts (that I am aware of).
I accept that different people have different views on many issues and I actually think that respectful debate is a very good thing for improving understanding, tolerance and being better informed on all sides.
My most recent post (which I consider was entirely consistent with all I have just mentioned) was deleted by site admin prior to the thread being closed. That's their right I guess, but I won't tolerate being gagged in any medium, so I will now permanently leave the forum.
I don't expect this post will last long if my suspicions are correct.
Farewell and best wishes to all those who I have "chatted" with in the past.

Thank you so much for everyhing and all the information you have contributed to each and every aspect of the forum throughout your 8 1/2 years and my 1/2 year on it. You were such a big aspect of this forum, and it will never be the same without you.

They better sort this out as there is no better finch breeder and person in this country if not i will be leaving also, cheers mick

Disappointed that you are leaving, I have always enjoyed your contributions to the group.

T we have had some jolly interesting chats on here over the years. Hope you change your mind. Cause while we sometimes were on different tangents we always respected each others right to an opinion.

I have already spoken to Graham, his response was that when i make a decision it is final and does not go back on these decisions.
As a fellow moderator i am so sad to hear this but there is nothing i can do.
The topic the posts were deleted in was "Finch Lounge" and with my previous experience, It is the place to post anything and everything you want.
