hi there,
i have some young partially coloured white headed nuns and wondering how long do they take to moult into adult colour ? ive heard theyre slow but how slow is slow ?

Up to 12 months or more for white headed munia's which is why some breeders dna them to sell before they moult totally. Best time to buy at that stage as you know they are young birds.

that is very slow indeed!! but yes worth the wait i like to make sure i have young birds so always try to buy juvie coloured or half or so.
