Hello from Bellbowrie

Hi folks,

Just saying hello from Bellbowrie, 18kls west of Brisbane CBD.

Have bred many budgies in the past but have only recently started to collect a finch population. Presently I have a pair of Zebras and a pair of Double Bars. The Zebras have so far layed a total of 12 eggs over a 2 month period but all appeared to be infertile. The DB's appear to be still quite young as they are only about half the size of the Zebras. Is this normal ??

Have a great day folks, regards
Lee

G'day Lee, welcome to the Forum mate
DB's are a smaller set bird compared to zebbies, and DB's are better off bred in a small colony situation
Good luck, and enjoy your birds
Thanks
