I have a pair of goldfinches and wanted help finding out if I have a cock Or a hen

My guess would be that your Goldfinch is a hen, but I am not an expert on goldfinches

Looks like a hen to me. Though it is quite some years since I had this beautiful species.

Thank you longtails for your reponse, now i can pair it up with a cock .
Also can u have 1 cock and two females or 1 cock with 3 females . I have spare hens and just wanted to know my Options.

I only ran them as pairs, but most cup nesters will work at Trios. So if you have spare hens give the boys 2 and see how it goes.
