30 bucks a pair is a great price Mick........goodonya for giving the birds a chance at a better life despite their potential ills.........If you're prepared to quarantine and treat them properly then they're worth the risk.............We bang on about quality so much but forget that 40 years ago our finch-keeping predecessors didnt enjoy the same luxuries we do now........likewise, there are birds in the hands of people who arent well equipped or dont recognise the value (especially the genetic value) of many birds.......they are best in the hands of someone like yourself who is prepared to gamble a bit to save them and hopefully add value............lets hope they are free of mutation or hybridisation.........

Not that Masks are particularly rare but they could be one day.............I was around when we had an endless supply of WA wild-caught birds......never bred any  ............we have to make an effort and be responsible with everything we've got these days :ugeek:
