Dear All,
I am familiar with the hen beak turning black when ready to breed. My question relates to Yellow backed hens, what colour does their beak turn?

A few years ago I was advised here that the beak does not change colour in the yellows. As to tell when they are in breeding condition without the beak colour indication I have no idea.
