Hi Everyone,
I found some Sorghum seed growing in our backyard, and I’m just wondering if it’s good for finches.
Thanks
Aidan

Yeah it’s not the native kind, so I won’t feed it to the finches.

Never tried it with finches . .
Mate of mine used to feed cultivated variety to his breeding parrots when half-ripe, because it was readily available, and they loved it (as did the wild parrots); so probably OK at that stage for likes of munias, parroties etc
As Starman points out when ripe it is used as a cheap 'filler' for commercial mixes, and mostly wasted on all bird types
