Is there a site or link available where one can get general information about the Australian finches that we keep?

I have a book that list birds found in Southern Africa and I think it would be great if something like that is available for Australian finches.

The topics listed are as follow:

Measurements
Bare parts (Color)
Identification (Size, etc.)
Voice
Distribution (In the wild)
Status (In the wild)
Habitat (In the wild)
Habits (In the wild)
Food (Especially while breeding)
Breeding:
Season
Nest (Type and height above ground)
Clutch
Eggs (Identification and measurement)
Incubation (By whom)
Nestling (days and fed by whom)

If something like this is not readily available, wouldn't it be nice to have something like this on Aussie Finch Forum?

Australian Birdkeeper Magazine produced a series of books including one on Australian finches that covered most of what you listed. It's called "A Guide to Australian Grassfinches"

There is a few... [ birdcare.com.au ] has most of the stuff you listed for all Aussie finches, [ aviculturehub.com.au ] also has full information but only on some finches. If you wanted some good books I would highly recommend "The Finch Breeders Handbook - Volume 1 (The Australians) by the Queensland Finch Society, "Finches of Australia" by Harry Doven and the book Rod reccomended.

This site and others like it, along with their 'search functions' are as good as any book; and are interactive . .
