Hi klwklw,
I breed Scarlets with my finches and have wormed many over the years. The best method I have found is to buy an eye dropper and use that. One drop in the beak at a time. Try very hard not do Drown the bird, they can get it in the lungs if you drop too much into them. Give them one drop and put them in a hospital cage, a small budgie type cage will do and dose them again a week after the first dose then let them back into the aviary.
Good luck, Deegs.

I have both Bourkes and Turqoisines
The best option is administering the moxi as 5ml / litre in the water
The trick is, the day before around 4pm take out all sources of water and moisture, and straight up in the morning give them the medicated water as they'll be thirsty and race down to have a big drink before realising it tastes bad
