Baby quails

Here are 3 baby quails that i hatched in a incubator and are 1 week old and are do fine, i have had them in a brooder box and will leave them there for another 4 weeks before putting them in the aviary.

Thanks Steven, one thing i have learnt about baby quails is they are very touchy with getting cold thats why i have them in the brooder.

nice pic. am hoping mine dont breed anymore this year, damn things have been worse than rabbits.

they sure did, about 30 of the damn things in 2 months. wouldnt have minded so much if they were big enough to eat

I just offloaded the last of my quail. Like Mick's, they bred like crazy and found it hard to offload them. Got sick of them waking me at night with their loud calls so they had to go. I am sure quail don't help in breeding success with finches either.
