Autosomal Recessive . .

Rare in Aus . . and may go unrecognised if they 'pop up' in the aviaries of inexperienced breeders

Pics pinched from internet . . I do not keep them

As you can see this has been edited a few times . . adding pics is not my strong point

'Blue-Yellowheaded' will naturally be different from 'Blue-Redheaded' . . and the light/ camera will also make a difference . .

I think that bird is as interesting as white finches. It kind of defeats the purpose of us having colour vision when they remove colour from birds.

And even though I disagree; I respect your opinion . .

I totally understand the challenge of breeding anything different. A challenge I enjoy with my chosen mutations. This is not one that appeals to me, so I would not breed it. However, if one turned up, I would make sure it went to a mutation breeder who was a fan of the type. That is what it is about. Breed what you enjoy, and help and encourage others to do the same.

The 2nd and 3rd pics are more attractive than the 1st. Could be the light, or as you say Arthur, the difference between the head colours. Thanks for persisting and getting extra pics.
