hi,
i have a cockbird that i bought as a half coloured juvie in july last year.he is fully dark blue except for this thin strip of no colour in necklace position.its kinda annoying when i look at him that he's not full blue.is this a normal thing ? will he moult it out ? he is a pure tri colour but too hard to get a pic of him.it just looks like his colour hasnt come through on that part.
thanks

Is it that the feathers are still green round the neck?

Not a Parrott finch keeper, so can't say. Was making sure you did not mean that he had gone a different colour like white or yellow - which could of been indicitave of pied blood. Hope someone else helps out.
