Hi all!
After some feedback on this beautiful boy I picked yesterday. He is extremely dark compared to normal, his green back seems to be edged in very dark green/black, his breast is so dark to look at, almost overlayed in black

Have a look at VR1Ton's pics of his Dark Factor gouldians for a comparison. He could be a dark factor, or mildly melanistic. Did he have access to sunlight most of the time where he came from?

Thanks, I will do that.
Unfortunately I'm not too sure as he was from a breeder who sold his babies to the pet supplies store so unsure on his living prior to then. Will have to wait and see 😊

get some liquid-gold (Vitamin D3 and calcium) into him, green seeding grasses and direct sunlight.

A month later we will know for sure.

To me it looks dark factor, like an olive colour.
Breeding Project 2020-2025.
