Snow here on monday.cherry finches out in aviary bemused at the white stuff.
Change in direction for me after lockdown ,gave up the bullfinches as had 2 bad breeding seasons .still keeping gouldians,cherries gold breasted waxbills,also keep bearded reedlings which are classed as softbills
Planning on planting up the aviaries for next year as no bullfinches to eat the plants,going with grasses and eucalyptus and buddleias .
Going to get stars,diamonds and parsons ,painted and crimson's finches harder to get and expensive.
