Finally received a batch of Green Seed the farmer kindly kept frozen for me during the lockdown. Now I can go into the upcoming Gouldian breeding season with some confidence.

Nice looking green seed Blues. Is it a mixture of several different seeds and what type are they. Cheers

Not sure of the name of the seeds Craig, I believe these (wild) seeds took over one of his French White Millet crops, not to waist the crop he harvested it green for us

The birds will love that! I mix mine with frozen veg (carrots, peas and corn) and soft food.

I'm not too sure about in NSW, but in QLD it is available through the Queensland Finch Society once a year (around March). Perhaps ask your local bird club, or another forum member may know?
