Because my birds have finished their seed mix, I decided to buy a new seed/pellet mix. My dad limited me to 10$ or less on the price and all the other seed mixes contained mostly just millet sadly, so I decided to go with this: https://bit.ly/3Cn1EUp I know colored pellets are not that good and It contains fillers and millet, but this is the best thing I could find under 10$ and I also bought these oat sprays as treats: https://www.petsmart.ca/bird/food-and-t ... -4151.html so what do you guys think?

Hi,

I think these millet sprays ( on the same website - https://www.petsmart.ca/bird/food-and-t ... gid=400111 ) would be a bit more more nutritious than the oat sprays. I think they're the same price too.

Thanks,
Aidan

I agree with Aidan. Also tell your Dad that seed mixes the birds eat 100% of are more economical that seed mixs you have to throw part of out because they can/t eat it. Finches naturally eat millet, they may or may not eat pelletts.
Ask for permission to do an experiment, where you try one then the other to see which they eat all of.
If there are any seeds they do not eat, try planting them in pots, they may grow and make even better finch food. Green seed it very good for them.
Enjoy your finches.

Ok. :D Thanks. I just thought that oat sprays would be less fattier and healthier ( because of the internet) than millet. Plus my birds don't even touch oats even when I hand feed it!
