i didnt get to this sale but can anyone let us know how was the finch numbers there ? was it full of birds or dissapointing ? just curious :think:

It seemed like numbers of both sellers and buyer were down. Not surprising considering the flooding and I would guess some people still being Covid gun shy.

But, there seemed to be more finches benched than I have seen at an Orange bird sale. Good numbers sold but many also went home. I notice Red-face Pytilias, Melbas, Blackhearts etc still unsold late in the day.

While the total numbers were good it felt like the variety was limited with many species represented in single digits (only 1 or 2 sellers).

Well organised venue as always, good weather, try to never miss it.

was great.

got my malabar parrots sold all my birds by 1030.

ate out on the way up n back then visited pejar

numbers were down on both ends but still a great sale. very well run

:thumbup: Not being into the "dark side" I have to admit they are a hansom pair.
Javas are pretty well up to dealing with anything as avairy mates, so good choice.
