Hi everyone!! How’s everyone’s breeding season going? Been hearing it’s been a slow season for everyone would love everyone’s thoughts because I’m having a good season myself.

Strong start in March, then it pretty much came to a screeching halt.

I did struggle with mice getting into the aviary, which I think disturbed the finches just enough that they decided to stop breeding.

Have had a major mice invasion here too - under control now. But trapped over 100 in a month. Farmers were fishing them out of their swimming pools by the dozen.
Then a very cold winter has been discouraging them. So not real flash.
