FB I don't believe so, if it had a purple breast the overall colour would most likely be slightly darker than a white breasted bird

the cinnamon gouldian is well and trully in australia,it is a very strong mutation with few loses in my experiance ,i have heard the bird is weak and young fall off the perch as far as i know this only happened to one breeder,the bird has its detractors thou,some being the very people that tried to lay claim to being the first to breed it,others put up photos of ino gouldians and try and say that this is what a cinnamon should look like,i have had hunderds of pms from other countries that ask for specific photos of different traits of the bird for identifacation all come back with a positive result for cinnamon,ill be surprised if this post last 5 min,cheers garyh

so it's sex linked recessive?
can you post your photos and explanation or a link at least?

I'm not doubting you but just keen to know if it's true cinnamon or should be called something else.
