I have got owl finch on my home. I think has a fungus or scabies on her feet. im used terbinafine hydrochloride (terbisil cream 1%). had trouble standing in first days. I've been using it for 5 days. I started seeing it on the perch from time to time. What treatment do you use when faced with such a problem? What is the most effective treatment for this disease?

Have had similar on canaries I bought in. Treat with a mix of cooking oil and Dettol. Gently rub the feet and legs daily for about 7/10 days depending on the infestation of mites causing the scale. Change all the perches as the little mites get into the wood. This is why I prefer cutting my perches from the fruit and other trees in my own yard. Can just chuck them in the fire and cut new ones as needed.
