My name is Derek and I have kept finches for about 2.5 years. In my early teens I had an aviary for several years but lost it when my parents sold the family home. I have some sucess this year breeding gouldians, double bars, orange breasts, melbas and green singers. I have yet to breed my red siskins, blue caps, tri coloured parrots, strawberries and saint helenas.
I have lots to learn.

Just the one 4M x 2.4m x2.4M high. I have 2 large cabinets for short time storage of excess birds. I may build another aviary next year.
