I have a photo of my feeder.
The birds are going in and out and feeding normally.
I have a cage front which fits into the slide on the front of the feeder.
I will leave it for a week then I will set the trap.

Another idea is to have a section of the aviary that can be closed off from the rest. This could be a feeding area of a nesting area or both. but you can then simply set up a system where you can close the door on the birds in there and then catch them easily with a net, which seems less time consuming that sitting by a trap. If the landscaping is in a way in which it encourages the birds to sleep/nest in that area exclusively you can simply shut the door at dusk and go in catch who you need in the morning.

This is what I'm going to do with soon-to-start build.

:lafhard: Sounds good but what about all of the things in your way such as perches, nests, brush boxes, plants and feeding station. All of these things inhibit using a net. Also entering the avairy on dark can cause panic. Also as said before if you remove the food late in the day and then put it back into the trap the next morning. I find the birds are easy to trap as they go straight in after the food with little waiting.
Best of luck with your idea I hope it works for you.

I just want to let every know that my feeder/trap station works very well. Thanks everybody for their advice as I am very happy with my set up. Now I can easially catch birds without causing mass panic.
