Hello there,
I’m new to bird keeping, a complete novice really as I haven’t kept any yet but have always loved finches and been interested in having some but not had the opportunity to set up an aviary until we got our new home recently.
So now that the opportunity exists I’m researching everything and trying to learn as much as possible to make sure that I fully understand what is required and involved so that I’m prepared to take the next steps, first in building a suitable aviary.
Luckily I have a family friend who is an experienced bird keeper who I’ll be pestering for help haha.
Anyway the forum has already been an enlightening read and look forward to seeing more, it’s fantastic such a resource exists.
