I bought a "breeding pair" of canaries last month, they are both girls it seems as ive ended up with 8 infertile eggs and they both nest. No singing from the one i was told was male.

Ive grown quite attached to both though so I don't want to swap one of them for a male.

Could 2 females and a male live harmoniously together in the same cage?

The size of the cage is 60Lx45Dx80H

Canary trios work well - if they have enough space.
I have had canary trios many times over the years, though currently am running pairs.
Your cage would be the perfect size if it was 80cm wide x 60cm high as length is much more important than height.
Is there anyway you could turn it on it's side?
If not it is very much a case of try it but be prepared to need to buy a better canary cage.
Good luck - Canaries are a beaut little bird.
