Hi guys I believe I have to blue cock birds.... but only one of them is singing, and he is singing quite alot, funnily enough the non singing male is the one going in and out of the best box.... anyone encountered this? They are in an aviary with 2 hens

In a group of 4 birds it is not uncommon to have a dominant male and one who keeps quiet so he does not get picked on.

Yes I would say that's normal....but... it's the seemingly dominant male that isn't singing and going in and out the nest... and the other male is the one singing. Both females are uninterested.... although one seems to be watching the male entering In and out the nest

Maybe, Mr submissive is trying his luck on for dominance?
While Mr Dominant is aware the ladies are not ready, but inspecting the facilities in readiness?
