When to take young away

Looking for a few answers with my new colony of 3 pair of red Siskins they are housed in 3.2x3.2x2.4 high aviary with a pair of Cordons so far have had 3 nests of 2 fledge with young still in same aviary just starting to colour I noticed a second round from one pair with 2 young but they stopped feeding and died also a lot more interaction between the older cocks and young my question is at wat age do most remove young from aviary ??

I've never keep them but I heard that when the are self sufficient and feeding themselves it's good time to move but with the exact same amount and type of foods they are used to. Cocks do become aggressive to young if they are still in the same aviary as them when breeding.
Make sure that the holding cage/aviary is well placed in a sunny spot but also free from draughts and plenty of places to stay secure at night in other words similar to where they are now. Imo
