Congrats.... My gouldians used to let me look in the box every day and i could hold the chicks aswell.... until i sold them

if it was me i wouldnt be able to help myself.

I get help from some of my waxbills to prevent me peeking into nests. I cant go within a couple of metres of a rccb or orange breast nest without them abandoning it, having to keep away from these means I cant go near the gould nests either.

yeh 1pr of my goulds lets me look. but i normaly wait till bout 10days after hatchen.

Not too long to wait Deb, 3 weeks from hatch to fledge and if you can hear them already you are nearly there. Think calm thoughts, meditate.

I could even take down the nest box from up on the wall to my height to look

Dont think Dolly (mum) would mind but Lucky (dad) is doing most the work and is not as friendly. Ill wait I got the emblemas to annoy if I get to desperate

my sympathy goes to the emblemas, cos I know you wont be able to control yourself

nope am having great self control ....Ill annoy the parrots , they dont seem to mind at all
