gouldian behaviour

I have noticed when ever it rains my gouldian love to drink any drops of rain that land on the wire. I have never seen any of my other birds do this. It makes me wonder why only the gouldians do this, they seem to really love this treat. You think the others would have caught on by now.

Mine do the same thing, they start at the bottom of the wire and work their way up. Once one starts it they all do it.
