Magots for food

Is there anyone doing magots for live food. I am wanting to do my own but can't find anything on them. Any help would be much appreciated.

hey greg, i used to muck around with maggots,
i have a tube where u put in a heart or similar, fill with bran, i think, and the maggots work their way to the bottom and fall into a sieve container, the birds do the rest

i use a lot of maggots theres a good artical on them on marcus polard s web site . all u need is a fly box with milk powder and bran basically its very simple .http://www.cliftonfinchaviaries.org/

this is the one i have, pretty simple, theres 3 pieces of pvc, with some bolts through it, there is a rod in the top section to slide ur hearts onto and bran in the bottom section, u can see how they slide together, on the bottom is just some quarter inch mouse wire to keep the bran in
