Does anyone know how many pairs of Fischers lovebirds I can breed in an aviary 1.8m long, 1.8m high and 0.9m wide? Thanks.

Sorry the only thing I recall vividly from the days - way back when - my Dad had them, is that you should make that decision and PUT THEM ALL IN AT ONCE as they will pick on newcomers.

Gawjus little things to look at but sure can pack a bite. Think the all in at once rule is the only one I can recall also but that doesnt stop the pecking order .

you need to see a doctor real fast, your not thinking straight

, finches would be much better in an aviary that size than lovebirds.

Just looking for a little variety Mick. Finches are not out of the question yet but just wondering what else I can put in there.
How many Goulds do you reckon could go in there?

would only put in two pair myself and would make sure they are all the same head colour to help cut out any pecking order bs

It is true ;) there is not a finch on the plantet you should not consider keeping
And parrotts only come in a poor 2nd or 3rd.
