Lovely looking bird, nice long tail wires too. Would love to see more pics and details of the breeding.

The bird in question is now about 7 months old born february this year.I have been trying for over 10 years to breed this bird & it has been very frustrating, when this one & his sister left the nest I knew they were not normal silvers. 2weeks later the father got crook & died I was gutted as a matter of fact I knew this was the end of the line so I am quite happy this bird has turned out as it did.
This bird was bred from( 2 yellow b/h w/b split to blue ) parents so in theory? it is a silver except it is white.
You can tell by the tail feathers it is in adult plumage

Sorry about the loss of the parent bird, hard to take at any time but more so just when you have what looks like your goal after such a long time.
It will be really interesting to see the young from these birds to see if they pass on this colouring. It must be great to have the two birds and different sexes to go on with. This means you will be able to see if the colour is sex linked doesn't it?
Good luck with it, hope to hear more about your successes.
