here are a couple of pics of the plants that I have put in the new aviary so far

African Feathergrass (approx 1m high and 1m across, finches love the seeds and use the dry stems for nest material)

Bamboo Plants (grow to approx 1.5m - 1.8m high)

Box Hedge (grows to whatever height you allow it to, same for width, great for building nests in)

Geranium (odd choice perhaps but mosquito's hate it & keep well away from general area. once big enough birds cannest in it)

Wormwood herb (have seen it in aviaries up to 1m high and a metre in diameter, good for birds to eat and again provides nest sites)

still have lots to plant will post pics as I go

Looking good Mick. Just make sure the grasses are well established before the birds can get to them. I rotate my grasses in pots and they get decimated each week.
