Hi

I have seen straw used as a floor covering in cages and Aviaries, however has anyone had any experience with Sugar Cane Mulch?

Is it toxic?

Hi there
I don't know much about the sugar cane mulch
but we can get here in Sth Aus, leaf mulch.
I have had no problems with it.
Its generally chipped/chopped up gum trees from around the area.
I don't see why you couldn't use sugar cane mulch.
You might lose most of it to your nest builders.
