Breeding white breasted gouldians

Hey all,
I have been breeding normal red head gouldians for a few years now and have decided to try and breed white breasted goulds. Am I right in thinking that if I pair a RH WB GB cock with a normal red headed hen the offspring will be split to white breast and have a purple breast? And then next year pair the split to white breast with a white breast the offspring will all have white breasts?
Any help greatly appreciated, mutations do my head in.

The white breast mutation is recessive so if you pair a white breasted bird to a purple breast all offspring will be visibly purple breast but split to white breast. If you pair the splits back to a white breast you will get half white breast and half purple breast split to white.
