think me aust yellow were but not sure which though as had me 3pr in me big cage then i decided to separate themas there were a few too many birds in the cage and wasnt sure on who was nesting

i use these boxes. have never had them nest in anything else then the boxes only once and that was in a upright wicker basket cause me R/F parrotys nested in the box
it has the porch on the right side

Greg thats exactly the same as mine,well fifty off them.European design.I have about the same amount that are about a 5 inch cube.

I use swamp grass in the boxes.November fairy What ever you want to call it.

great pics.
for some reason my goulds until this year would always choose a wicker nest over the box, every time. now though they only want to use the big ones I make using pea straw. oh well so long as they breed I cant complain

Funny that mine have always had a choice of brush or box.and in 11 years of breeding them,I have only had them breed in tea tree acouple of times.

been breeding them for 5-6 years now and have had choice of boxes and brush and wicker baskets. none in brush once in wicker and the rest in boxes

I only had 1 pair that breed in a basket and the went to a box, all my other gouldians use the boxes.
