SA Parrot Finch Man

Hey there all you Finch lovers. My name is Mick and i'm in Adelaide,SA. I just joined the forum and looking forward to reading alot of members posts and expanding my knowledge about the care of these birds. I have had Finches in the past with some degree of success (mainly with Red Faced Parrot Finches) but last week it all ended in disaster! I have an empty aviary sitting outside due to not paying Rats enough respect and my 11 Finches were wiped out over the span of a couple of nights :cry: ! I would of had a concrete floor but im in a rental property and this was not allowed. I am moving into my own house early next year so i will do it right next time. I figure i have some time on my hands now to learn more and meet people with the same interest as me.

SA Parrot Finch Man

Thanks guys! oh and Diane, Where in Adelaide you at? I'm in Modbury North but will be moving to Paralowie around March. I mainly deal with Dean at Camsal Aviaries for my stuff. I have been reading another thread where you were talking about bird wormer you got there (camsal) so i figure your pretty close. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome and i'll get back to reading the archives....
