Hello and Happy New Year. I reside in Sunny Florida, US and have been keeping birds many years, the last few years I have been fascinated with the finches and currently have about 350 finches. Namely ... Gouldians, Red Throated Parrots, Goldbreast Waxbills, Zebras, Crested and Normal Societies and a few old weavers and canaries.

Thanks all... I had tried to join weeks ago... found the welcome post in my spam folder
Finally figured it out...thought for a minute there Mickp had thrown me out before I could even wet my whistle
I have been reading many post. One thing I noticed that is different here than most US breeders are the amount of outdoor aviaries and live foods/plants that the breeders maintain. The growing of the diets interest me as well as more natural housing. I have several large aviaries but none naturally planted... a dream for the future.
