I took a drive this morning to pick up a bird.......more on that in another post.

While I was driving along down the Main North Road I saw some branches on the ground in the center reservation and my first thought was "they would make good branches for the aviary"

Or "he who prefers tools" has pruned the mulberry tree and is chucking the branches on the trailer to take out the tip and you say "don't chuck them out, I want to keep them for when the finches need a change of perches"
He did chuck most of them out, while pointing out that between the mulberry and cape lilac I am not likely to run out of replacement perches anytime between now and 2020

Or when you grow your own bamboo just for perches.

When you carry secatuers wherever you go.

When it takes longer to get the finches ready for the day ahead, than it does for you to get ready for work.

When a carry cage is a permanent resident in the boot of the car for those "I saw this terrific bird and....." moments

When you know and frequent every pet shop in a 300klm radius

more worrying is when you walk into those shops & your on a first name basis with all the staff

Kids think I should self bar myself from pet shops and spotlight .
