Hi, noticed that my female Red Siskin has 2 lumps on her head. Any idea what the cause of this could be and what to medicate her with?

Thanks

There are many posibilities,Depending on where the lumps are too.if they are only above the beak or throat they may be caused by trauma, scaly mite, pox, granulomas if around the nasal area.tuberculosis perhaps.Tumors?

Hi, I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. The lumps are on top of the head. (look like horns).

Hi sorry cant post any pics at the moment(camera issues) but the lumps do appear to be tumors. There are two on top of the head and another appearing under the eye.

It is very possible mosquito bites red siskins are very susceptible to these & they are very hard to treat i am affraid these can be fatal.
If mosquitoes are present you might have to move birds or eliminate mossies
