I can see how those cages would be good for introducing pairs.
But using them to get the cocks to fight to the death!
Maybe the people who do this sort of thing should be put in a pit for a week with enough food and drink for one person and enough knives for each of them, and see how they like it.

Not good at all .
sadly wouldnt exclude Aussies from it either , seems some Aussies have a taste for blood sports same as a lot of other countries . Ive actually had my eyes open to some horiffic acts of abuse on domestic critters as well as wild ones.
Seems the latest thing out here is siamese fighting fish bouts , these are common in Asian countries and gaining popularity here , teenage boys are the main culprits .
$7.00 for a male fighter is a small outlay . Very sad events indeed.

Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

Every country has a few sickos regretfully.
And those Siamese fighting fish are well named, will try and get each other through the glass of adjoining aquariums without even having a female round to fight over.
Congratulations Jay.

The world is full of sickos and every now and then they just can't help but pop up and disgust 'normal' folk.
Congrats Jay look foward to to seeing an example of your editorial prowess some time in the future.

I don't think you guy would enjoy the national sport here - cock fighting. After everyones goes to church on Synday the men head off to the Arena with their prized fighting bird only to return with dinner (chicken) and no money latter in the day. I've never been but have seen it while surfing the TV channels. The fights are remarkbly short (< 1min) but that's not surprising when each bird has a 10cm, razor-sharp, knife lashed to one of their spurs. Finch fights must be far more prolonged.
