has anyone used the vetafarm products Sweet Water or Wormout Gel ????

iv gotten a bottle of sweet water from work to try in my bird baths and maybe there drinking container to see if it keeps them cleaner for longer?

and the only worming iv ever done for my finches is when i use ivermectin which im not sure how good is for worming. i normally use it for ASM.

generally every time i picked up a bird wormer from a shop it seemed to confusing the dilution rates and how many days and repeats for the treatment.

wormout gel seems pretty easy, 2 ml to every 160 ml of water, enough to last 2 days.

anyone used this before? work well? or can recommend something different?

cheers

Jarryd :)

I have Sweet Water.
To me it smells no different than apple cider vinegar and I think it's intended use is the same - more as a tonic to help lower the pH and make the environment less hospitable to pathogens..

So.. it's expensive ACV.. :\

also with the wormout gell you need to use a bit of hot water to mix the require the dose otherwise the consistency isnt very good i preffer not to use this. also i think it is more for crop needling rather than mixing in water nd putting it in water bowls
