It's also reviewed by the ABC
http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/ ... pic=latest. With one genome sequenced perhaps one day there wil be many more and those birds lost to Australian Aviculture can be recreated "Jurassic Park" style!

It would be good to be able to "bring back" extinct birds. But we would need to be careful. After all, look how easy it was to get it wrong on Jurassic Park. Don;t want finches that take a bite out of us.
