Aviculture Leads For Keeping Australian Native Animals

I was just listenting to the ABC News Radio and they had a story about a new RIRDC proposal to give more value to Austrlain wildlike by easing the restrictions on owning and maintainng native mammals http://www.rirdc.gov.au/programs/new-ru ... PRJ-004398. Maybe I can continue to keep sugargliders when we get back to Australia but given the cost of quarantine they won't be the ones I have now. I suppose it's pie in the sky but it's good that the government is looking. RIRDIC did put aout a report a few years ago about exporting native birds and nothing came of that https://rirdc.infoservices.com.au/downloads/W97-026.pdf.
