Can you put budgies and finchs in the same cage.

Nope. I would personally never do it. Budgies can get nasty and inflict some real damage.

Only if you like your finches legless. Budgies tend to chew on everything including finches legs. Remember years ago when my mother had more quail than avairies with small wire, put a pair in with the budgies, fine till they hatched chicks. The budgies killed everyone, playing with them.

ah, but then the zebs would probably build on TOP of the budgies.

i'm sure that keeping them with birds like orange breasts, cordons, less 'bold' species, would not be a good idea.

java sparrows would be ok
