Just re-reading the leg banding thread and my thoughts turn to record-keeping........I'll be using the leg banding system described and registered with the website that bluebutterfly recommended............Anyone got an excel spreadsheet or other database or system thats easy to use?............I'm terrible at paperwork so need something easy and effective

When I did mine I googled for spreadsheets for bird breeding , theres quite a few , some are free. The only thing was they wanted to record the ins and outs of a "finches bumhole" so I made my own only using the data I thought was necessary .
Dont go printing out hundreds coz I played around with mine till I got it right and also leave a space for notes to yourself.
O/H even got a bit fancy and did water marks of various finches in the background .
Now ask me if my records are up to date ....nope , its on the to do list.
Now Im going to leave this post and try to scan in one of mine as a rough idea ...dont hold your breath waiting and no promises that I can do it.

Mine are 2 to a A4 page cut in half and filed in those small A5 binders. Mine are very simple , you may want something more in depth .

I like your record pages Deb, very nice.

I also use pedigree forms I made up myself. Basic information on one side with a 4 generation pedigree on the back. I made these up just for the gouldians really, so I could keep the colour mutations straight. I made it so that I can quickly circle the colours for the bird rather than having to write it out each time.
pics not very good but you get the general idea. Happy to email them if anyone wants a better look.
