My English brother in law says Australians mangle the English language so your English might get worse not better.
The hen Gouldian in particular looks darker than most. This is a good way to get different shades in the birds. Putting the darkest together and the lightest together. Keep us posted, always interested to see other peoples experiments with colour.

So, male it will be R/B or female it will be a Red head. The hen looks well coloured.

The male is a red Head und the female BH.
Its difficult to discribe her color on the back.
The fotos show, that the green on the back is more dark and perhaps olive.

Hi Will_36
Recently I built two new cages in order to separate females and males out of breeding time.
I used my balcony.
See the pictures.

The birds like bathing in the sun.
They will have a good molt.
Loosing feathers on the head during the breeding season is possible. My experience to help the birds: sun - sun - sun!
