Dark Eyed White society finches

Hi ,
Does any one know of many Dark Eyed White society finches,Pure white,(Mannikin Bangalese) being bred in Australia?

Not too common I don't think. But only because as they are a fairly common bird not many people take the time to breed specific colours. This is some thing I intend to put more effort into in the future. A full white with black eyes is in effect a double factor pied. Can be accieved by breeding the 2 whitest pieds you have together then breeding their offspring to the whitest other bird you have etc. Depends on the roll of the dice how long it will take. From Zeb breeding of this type not long.

I have one dark eyed white society finch,cock bird put in in with a very light hen.See how they go

Good luck, hope it goes well. Am succeeding in increasing my percentage of striated (bird of prey markings) Bengos. Now it's time to play with colours.
