First time gouldian parents laid 4 eggs, one hatched and has now fledged. I think the parents have been eager to get started on the second clutch as this baby is as bald as a badger! No feathers on the head, shoulders, or belly, no blood at all, just bald. Will get a pic soon.
Im lucky that he/she seems to be getting around the cage ok as there are feathers on the wings. This pair are also housed in a cabinet in a large shed so its not subject to the cold as much.

Just leave it alone and see what happens?

If they are that keen to get back to egg laying will they continue feeding the fledgling?

When the new feathers come in would they be in the adult colour? I already know its going to be a BH PC GB
