I was looking at the Magnet Mart junk-mail catalouge, and saw an ultrasonic mouse/rat/cockroach thing. Apparently it sends out ultrasonic sounds which are not harmful to humans, dogs cats etc.
Anyone tried them with birds? seems like a better way to do it than all that poison and stuff....

I would be nervous to use one.
Do birds get effected with a high pitched frequency.
TomCat baits are still the best.

Save ya money. I put one in a grain shed think they used it as Disco music and invited their mates.

Yep! Better off with baits and just go to Bunnings and get those plastic bait stations and leave them around your property. They are great as dogs and birds can't access them (also nosey kids! lol) And because they take block baits the mice won't be dragging poison all over the joint...Mice proof wire around the cage helps keep the buggers at bay also....
