Not really a question, more a comment....

I have to give a big wrap to the Kempsey-Macleay Bird Club.......I'm just back from their Bird Sale........what a top day!.......it was bedlam  .....I loved it.....you had to move around quick and scan what was tabled or miss out.......I had an open mind in terms of what I wanted........ and did well I reckon 8-) ......a nice pair of WE Masks to go with my others and mix the blood  .........a nice pair of Stars (I was after one or two pair of cheapies, I love Stars :D ).......and a nice pair of Purple Crowned Lorikeets  ..........and of course some sundry items

For anyone interested, there were 2 pair of young Bloods for $250 which I thought about but arent ready for them yet....personally I think thats still too much even though I know they're fetching much more around the country........they're still a bit tricky for where I'm at........the Purple Crowned Loris to me are a much better investment.....dna sexed, hardy, freeer breeding......and not a finch :| .............I was after Neophemas.....there were heaps but all colour mutations  ......give me normals any day :ugeek:

Heaps and heaps of GOOD Parrots.....if only I had the space I woulda had Hoodeds, Golden Shouldereds, Crimson wings, Kings, Northern Rosellas, Eckies.......oh so beautiful Varied and Purple-crowned Loris, Littles, Red Collards, Scaleys etc

For all you Foreigners there were heaps of Cubans, Ruddies, Auroras, OBs, RC Cordons, Blue Caps :o (sorry Jayburd, dont remember the price)

Heaps of Double bars, Chestnuts, some plumheads, some Longtail mutants , diamonds

They have their Bird Show tomorrow but I'm on a mission to complete my aviaries.....only a few days more work  ......uncanny how my aviary completion date will coincide with the maturation of my latest batch of home brew :P  8-)

Sounds like a great day out Mick. Now you only need to find room to house them :lol:By the sounds of it you will have a bit of extra room in a few days.
How much were the we masks going for your way ?
